We were delighted to once again support the fantastic HARP24 event over the weekend of July 6th/7th. Another great success despite the unfortunate weather conditions.
This was the event’s 11th year and it was bigger & better than ever! We saw almost every kind of weather as runners from across the country descended on Southend-on-Sea for the annual 24 hour endurance race to raise funds to HARP Southend (Official), the leading Southend charity helping local people overcome homelessness for good.
The event witnessed amazing stamina & meteorological resilience, with participants running a collective 9,015 miles – the equivalent of running from Southend to Los Angeles – with strong head winds!
Finish Line Fund provided a grant to support the cost of the medical team that was in place for the event.
Congratulations to HARP Southend (Official) and all the runners who took part.
