This morning we were with South Woodham Runners 10k at their 4th annual trail race. Congrats to the club on an excellent event with fantastic views of the Crouch attracting 400 runners from local clubs. We were delighted to support the event with a grant towards the cost of providing medical facilities to keep everyone safe out on the sea wall. #supportingsportinourcommunity

Junior Red Star FC at Roots Hall! Last Monday, Finish Line Fund-sponsored Junior Red Star FC U10s enjoyed a fantastic day at Southend United’s Roots Hall stadium, where they played an exhibition match on the pitch. Before kick-off, the players were treated to a behind-the-scenes stadium tour, including the home and away dressing rooms, media centre, directors’ box and players’ tunnel — before walking out to the Champions League theme tune in kits emblazoned with our logo! It was a brilliant experience for the players, coaches and families alike, creating memories that will last a lifetime. A club spokesman commented...

Yesterday we were at Southend Rugby Club enjoying their awards day for the youth section. Whilst there, we presented the club’s representatives with vital life saving equipment , a new defibrillator that will be used pitch side home and away next season. Also present supporting the event was MP for Southend East and Rochford Bayo Alaba MP #supportingsportinourcommunity London Hearts

On Sunday we were at the fantastic community event the Roach Valley Way Relay. This annual team race over 4 legs of wonderful Essex countryside raises funds for Havens Hospices Fundraising We are delighted to have provided a grant towards the cost of the medical services required to keep everyone safe and thus enhance the final donation to Havens. Well done to our fantastic foursome! #supportingsportinourcommunity

Today we were helping the wonderful Hare & Tortoise Running Limited at their Saltmarsh Half Marathon event. From South Woodham to Burnham on Crouch the runners enjoyed the great conditions and views. If you have not tried out one of their events check out what’s coming up through the summer. This includes the Finish Line Frolic in July of course.
