Yesterday we paid a visit to Burnham on Crouch parkrun to say a thank you to Neal Beaumont, chair of Dengie 100 Runners and to meet some of the club’s members. We have supported the club over the last four years with funding for Leader in Running Fitness and a Coach in Running Fitness courses. Neal advised that the club is now thriving with 69 members whereas it was down to very low numbers just a few years ago and having trained people leading sessions has been invaluable. Today we have been delivering yet more life saving equipment , this time to Elite Fitness 24 at their Rochford site. This defibrillator facility will improve the safety in the gym for the many members that used the 24 hour operation. Our defibrillator estate now stands at 47.
